Challenge Entry

The Challenge: "This week at Frosted Designs we are making Valentine projects! There is one small catch though. You can't use pink or red!! See what you can come up with and see if your project will make the TOP 3 at Frosted Designs!!"

The Challenger: Frosted Designs

My sister gave me the idea to create an owl for a Valentine's Day card. While shopping for supplies we came across the quote "hoo hoo hoo will always be there for you? I will, thats hoo!" My vision was complete!!!
I used SCAL along with my Cricut to cut the owl and the branch. For the words I used the Plantin School Book cartridge and my Xyron to adhere them! The bronze *sparkles* are Martha Stewart Microbeads.
A little bit about those beads. I love the look they give - a little bling without being the standard glitter look. However, they are little suckers to work with! They roll all over the place and are harder to control than glitter. I really need to figure out a better way of adding them so that they don't all end up in my carpet!
