Paper Piercing Challenge

The Challenge: My first challenge for you is Paper Piercing. I love this technique and there are so many ways to use it. You can do a little, you can do a lot, you can do it fancy, you can do it plain--you can even use it for faux stitching!

The Challenger: Crazy 4 Challenges

The style or feel of this card is different from most of my cards. The patterned paper gives it an old-country feeling. The paper is all scraps that I had lying around, it was nice to put old things to use and not feel like I'm cutting up a new piece of pretty paper!

I used SCAL2 to place the circle on the card. The butterfly is from the Home Decor cartridge (blackout butterfly two). For the challenge I paper pierced the butterfly. I am happy with how it turned out! I didn't even know that I owned a tool that would be good for paper piercing! But this is why I love to do challenges. They get me to try to techniques! Thanks for looking!
